So the application has been submitted and hopefully there will be good news for me in January. Should that come true, this time next year, I will be writing about autumn's end in London and that, will be truly magnificent. I'm running out of funding options but I do believe it is still possible. I am not ready to give up. Earlier in the year, I reckoned that 2006 would be a defining one but nothing really took off as depressive days alternate with delightful ones. However on this last day of October, it feels like an awakening to remember. There is a renewed sense of hope and purpose when truth finally reigns in one's heart and mind, and the body festers no more at inertia. To be at peace with oneself surpasses description.
Meanwhile, the rainy season has finally arrived. Plenty of evening walks before heaven-sent showers and windy spells to look forward to while I work hard to redeem myself this November. Bangkok in December beckons once that bound volume closes this chapter of my life... Aja! Aja!
